After a busy schedule of two days , IPL given some rest to the
its viewers by organizing only one match today. The sizzling rain before match creates a suspicion among the viewers that it may be going to affect the enjoyment but the rain stopped and they get relief. After winning the toss DHONI elected to bat first and the two opener ,especially HAYDEN converts it in a right decision by making a blasting half century. Both openers were on fire and made 106 runs together in just ten overs. Before captain himself,of royal challengers provide twice
breakthrough in his very first over, it seems that the chennai
super kings are going to make a score more than 200.
After that RAINA , DHONI and FLINTOFF also made a
handful contribution to score to make it finally 179/5. The
most successful & economical bowler was the KEVIN
PIETERSEN with 1/14 in 3 overs.
In reply the start of ROYAL CHALLENGERS was not good
and they lost wicket of PRAVEEN KUMAR in very first over
when GONY bold him with a beautiful yorker. A partnership
was building after that early dismissal but it cannot go
beyond 40
runs when KALLIS given out lbw on delivery of his own
countrymen bowler MORKEL. After that every batsman
shown eagerness to return pavilion and wickets were falling
like cards. only DRAVID and KOHLI put some resistance
by putting 16 runs together. DRAVID was the last man to got
out and the challengers shown again performance like they
were playing in the IPL-I.
